incorrect. A superset is where you train an agonist muscle and then immediately train the antagonist muscle. We will use the biceps and triceps as an example. A bicep curl causes the bicep to contract, but it causes the tricep to lay flat, or relax. Overhead tricep extension would be excellent after. Your body will send chemicals to the antagonist muscle to relax, meaning you can stretch it farther and it won't be as inhibited. Better ROM, more muscle spindles used, etc. SCIENCE.
